What a beautiful night Melissa and Will had for their engagement session, complete with very dramatic skies. Their wedding is this coming September at Chatham Bars Inn. We met Will at his sister, Christine's wedding last year where he was a groomsman. If that wedding was any indication of the fun that will be had in September, it'll be an amazingly day! We're looking forward to seeing the both of you on your wedding day!
Happy Birthday Miss Ella! Oh how fast a year goes by, especially a child's first year! They grow from an itty bitty, sleepy newborn to a little person with tons of personality. I will never stop being amazed at how fast this growing happens. It's so important to catch each stage, because as parents, you'll blink and you're onto the next stage. Ella came in for a Newborn, 5 month, 10 Month and One Year/Cake Smash Session. She is such a sweetheart. No matter what her mood, we were able to catch her smiling and having fun. She even liked the cake with a little coaxing! I hope you come back and see us often Ella! We'll miss your frequent visits!
We had the privilege of having Hannah in for a model-like shoot. We put on some Taylor Swift and had fun! She's a complete natural and can turn it on in an instant! I told my daughter she's next to come in to the studio. Having a "tween" is such a beautiful thing. They are at the in-between stage of being a young child and a teenager. They still have their imaginations and the innocence of childhood. They still play and enjoy life in the present. As in every other stage in our children's lives....we need to capture them before they are gone. I look forward to doing more Tween sessions.

Congratulations to Katie and Chris. They had their first look in downtown Chatham with a few curious friends and passerby watching. There were a few across the street in hiding. It was very sweet and meaningful to them and the cheering from their friends and family made it even more exciting. We went off to take some pictures before the ceremony with the bridal party at the Chatham Beach and Tennis Club and lighthouse. The ceremony followed at Kate Gould Park. After the ceremony we went off to take more pictures of the newlyweds at the reception site, which was a private residence of a family member. The scenes and views were absolutely breathtaking. A photographer's dream ...

Congratulations to Christine and James! They were married at St. Thomas Chapel in Falmouth. Dave and I usually split up before ceremonies, so I was with James and his groomsman and he was with Christine and her bridesmaids. I was told that across the harbor from the church (where the groom was), the bride and her bridesmaids could be seen taking pictures on the dock. They never even saw me, but Christine can be seen looking over at the church. James knew she was there, but wasn't allowed to peek! I believe Mr. Ciociolo gets photo credit for the picture of the groomsman in front of the church....he liked my lens. Great pic, you're hired! After the ceremony, we arrived at ...
